Your trip to Lisbon is already booked but you are not sure which museums you should visit?

Here are 4 places that are definitely worth buying an admission ticket for.

1. Torre de Belém

This is by far my favorite place in Lisbon.

The park surrounding the tower is amazing for a picnic.

You can also find several food trucks offering beverages and snacks while strolling around the area.

Furthermore, his spot is perfect if you want to see the sunset and just want to relax outside the city center.

Although the park alone is already very beautiful, I recommend going inside the Torre de Belém to check out its architecture and get an even more incredible view.

2. Centro Cultural de Belém

Not far from the Torre de Belém is the Belém Cultural Center.

This thing looks already very artsy from the outside but it becomes even more artsy on the inside.

This is definitely the place for people who are interested in art or want to visit something very unique and modern.

You can also see some funny things as in the picture I took.

So definitely check it out during your visit!

3. Mosteiro dos Jerónimos

This monastery was truly breathtaking!

No matter which side you explore the architecture will captivate you.

The monastery is definitely one of the most popular attractions in Lisbon for a reason, so please include some waiting time in your travel itinerary.

I personally went there in winter, so the waiting line was bearable but during the peak season, it might get really crowded.

However, you shouldn’t miss out on seeing this place. Trust me!

4. Museu Nacional do Azulejo

What is famous about Portugal?

Right, the wonderful tiles on all the buildings and streets.

You can’t get enough of them? Then you are not alone haha.

I was practically on the hunt for those tiles and finally found a tile museum in Lisbon.

It is so impressive to see all the artwork with these tiles and I didn’t expect the museum to be that big!

It was definitely one of my favorite places in Lisbon, so I totally recommend to visit it if you are a sucker for the Portuguese tiles like me.

adults: 5 €
